Getting to Eluai House
Eluai House is located in the Oserengoni Hills off Lake Naivasha, approximately 115 km from Nairobi. The journey by road takes about 2.5 to 3 hours depending on traffic and route.
It sits just off the main Moi South Lake Road, about 1 km from the lake on slightly higher ground with magnificent views. After the entrance through the Giraffics Park valley, you arrive at our gate marked "Eluai House" which comprises of our staff quarters and main house. Secure parking is available on-site.

Eluai - A place of Peace
Eluai sits withing a 10-acre fenced paradise inside Giraffics Park, a 150 acre wildlife corridor that extends to form part of the larger Oserengoni sanctuary. Fully staffed with two gardeners and one or two Askaris for day and night security, the estate offers peace of mind in a beautiful setting. Guests can enjoy our organic vegetable garden, which provides seasonal produce as well as a variety of herbs. The gardens also feature orchids placed in scenic spots and two fish ponds that enhance the landscape. The interior courtyard, pool area, and open-air dining spaces create a seamless flow between indoor comfort and outdoor beauty. Enjoy a game ride in our Oserengoni Wildlife Sanctuary while you are visiting or simply relax at Eluai. Our staff can arrange for a Bush Breakfast or Sundowner, as you request.
The Sanctuary
Eluai is located within the wider Oserengoni wildlife sanctuary, a landscape of more than 13,000 acres of bush, grassland and hills above Lake Naivasha. Wildlife such as giraffe, leopards, buffalos, hyenas and other species move freely through the area, not to mention the spectacular bird life creating a peaceful natural setting for guests.
Activities
Activities which can be arranged with our Safari cars include game drives, bush breakfasts, bush dinners and sundowners. Also we can arrange for boat tours on Lake Naivasha.
A short drive from Eluai you will also find The Farm Shop, our family-run grocery store located about five minutes away next to The Ranch House restaurant on the shores of Lake Naivasha. It makes a lovely outing for lunch or dinner, with frequent sightings of wildlife and the sounds of hippos from the lake.
