Check-in time is 3 PM and check-out time is 11 AM.
Hornbill Cottage and the Main House are located in Muthaiga, one of Nairobi’s most secure residential neighborhoods. The property is easily accessible by car, and our long-standing staff are on site to assist with arrival and security.
Directions: From the airport it is about a 20 minutes ride.
Parking: Secure parking is available on-site.

Hornbill Cottage is a private one-bedroom retreat set within lush gardens in Muthaiga. Ideal for short stays and working visits of up to 30 days, the cottage offers a comfortable living space, open kitchen and dining area, and a peaceful outdoor patio. Its location close to the UN headquarters and Gigiri makes it an excellent base for professionals seeking a quiet, secure place to stay in Nairobi.
Maid service is included everyday in the morning, except Sundays. The service includes cleaning, laundry, and ironing. Linen and towels are provided and changed weekly for longer stays. Additional housekeeping or cooking services can be arranged separately upon request.

Hornbill House is a spacious and welcoming home in the heart of Muthaiga, available exclusively when we are away. Guests enjoy access to the main living areas, including a large living room with workspace, a formal sitting room with fireplace, a well-equipped kitchen, and a shaded veranda overlooking the garden.
Maid service is included everyday in the morning, except Sundays. The service includes cleaning, laundry, and ironing. A private chef and a driver can be arranged for an additional fee, including airport transfers or getting around Nairobi with advanced notice. Additional services can be arranged separately upon request.
